CapraCare was founded by one of ASC’s program managers from Haiti, Jean Pierre-Louis, who personally lost family and friends in the earthquake. 

Hôpital Albert Schweitzer sponsored a staff member, Pastor Rubin, who attended ASC’s Peer Education Program, and took the information and skills he acquired back to HAS.

Empire State AIDS Ride Supports ASC
“We rode in 91-degree heat, through torrential rain, and a tornado,” says Marty Rosen, ride director for the Empire State AIDS Ride, which raised over $200,000 for AIDS research and services in August.
